Psychotherapy for Teens & Adults

Life often presents challenges that are difficult to navigate alone. Many people reach a point where they have tried to work through things on their own, or have spoken with someone before, and are now looking for something more sustained and substantive.

Dr. Jochai is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California with over 10 years of experience. She provides a supportive space for teens and adults to examine their thoughts and feelings and work through relational difficulties, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, substance use, and developmental trauma. She also supports early-career professionals and trainees — including medical residents — with professional development and wellbeing.

Her approach is grounded in creating a space where clients can be fully themselves: heard, understood, and supported. She takes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, drawing on empirically- and theoretically-based principles from neurobiology, social psychology, and clinical psychology, informed by an existential-humanistic perspective. In practice, this means using evidence-based modalities — including CBT, EFT, CPT, and EMDR — tailored to each client's needs, within a relationship that honors each person's own search for meaning. Through meaningful, collaborative conversation, she works with clients to address the underlying issues affecting their relationships, work, and broader sense of self.
